The August 17 MMA Monday Masterclass at the Business Growth Gallery focused on the connection between mindset, identity, planning, and execution.
This sessions features speakers
EXP Agent Gino Pringle (The Realtor with the Yellow Hat) and
Financial Planner David Pinzon (David Pinzon Finance)
Resetting the Mind Every Day

Gino began with two words that have become important in his life.
Reset and Renew.
He explained that resetting isn’t something we do once.
It’s a daily decision.
For some, reset may take the form of something as simple as choosing to go to the gym, even when you are too tired.
Gino explained that our minds give us resons to stay home but he says that these moments are opportunities to reset our thinking and choose the action that supports the person we want to become.
A renewing mind-set also helps in refining our actions.
When something isn’t working or when we hit a blockage a reset is needed.
That reset creates a fresh start.
The renewal creates a new way of moving forward.
He shared a simple but powerful lesson.
Change your thoughts
Change your attitude
Change your life
Everything begins in the mind.
The thoughts we repeat influence our decisions and our decisions shape our future.
Taking Personal Accountability

Gino used his own experiences of carrying years of negative thoughts from his past.
He said, to recognize that changing those patterns won’t happen overnight.
It requires daily effort and personal accountability.
He also made it clear that growth doesn’t mean rejecting everything about yourself.
The goal isn’t to become someone completely different.
It’s to recognize which beliefs are helping and which ones are preventing progress.
The biggest hurdle in personal development is to stop placing the responsibility of your change on other people.
Instead of focusing on We, They, or Us, focus on what I can control.
That mindset helps you be more honest about your decisions.
Other people can guide, coach and encourage you but the responsibility to change still belongs to You.
When It Isn’t Working for You

David Pinzon continued the masterclass with the idea..
If it isn’t working for you, it’s working in you.
Sometimes the visible results don’t reflect the value of what’s happening internally.
David explained that many people were raised with a limited view of what they could accomplish.
After hearing negative messages for years, those messages can begin to feel normal. When business results fall short, it becomes easy to treat those results as confirmation that the negative voices were right.
That’s why business growth isn’t only a strategy problem.
It can also be an identity problem.
Your Identity Isn’t Your Results
David reminded the group that poor results don’t automatically mean someone is a poor business owner, salesperson or professional.
Your identity isn’t linked to your results.
A disappointing month is something you experienced, it isn’t who you are.
A mistake is something you made it doesn’t define your character or your future.
David warned that people often try to motivate themselves by giving themselves Tough Love.
They call themselves lazy, unintelligent or maybe even incapable.
Those statements eventually influence the way they behave.
Accountability does require honesty but honesty shouldn't mean self-destruction.
Start Planning for 2027 Now

David encouraged the group to begin thinking about 2027 now instead of waiting until January.
August should be a month of review.
Business owners can use this time to evaluate what has worked and what hasn’t worked.
That review should include practical questions.
How many prospects did you contact?
How many appointments did those conversations create?
How many appointments became paying clients?
Which marketing activities generated revenue?
What was the return on your investment?
Where did you spend time without producing a meaningful result?
When you know what actual actions you are taking, it's easier track what's working.
David explained that tracking gives you the freedom to be Proactive and not reactive.
Time is one of our most valuable assets because it can’t be replaced.
Successful people understand how to protect it, organize it, and use it intentionally.
Review, Plan, Test, and Refine
David broke down the schedule for preparing for the next year.
August is the time to review. Look at the numbers and identify which activities worked.
September is the time to plan. Use what you learned to build a strategy for the final quarter and the coming year.
October is the time to test. Put the plan into action and determine whether your expectations match reality.
November is the time to refine. Adjust the plan based on what the test revealed.
By December, the goal is to have enough clarity and structure to spend time with family, rest, and prepare for the opportunities that arrive at the beginning of the new year.
This approach helps business owners become proactive instead of reactive.
Operate in 90-Day Cycles
Instead of giving themselves an entire year to reach a goal, David encouraged participants to work in 90-day cycles.
A 90-day plan gives a business owner enough time to act consistently, measure results and make adjustments.
It also creates several opportunities throughout the year to review progress instead of discovering six months later that the strategy isn’t working.
Each cycle should include
a clear target
daily actions
tracking
and a review period.
You can then keep what worked, change what didn’t and begin the next cycle with better information.
This approach can be used for business, health, finances, relationships and even personal development.
The system can adjust depending on the goal but the process remains the same.
Know where you are.
Decide where you want to go.
Choose the right actions.
Track the results.
Make the necessary adjustments.
Growing Together Through MMA
Gino closed the session by reminding the group why MMA was created.
The program began when Coach Lucy Q worked with Gino and three other real estate agents who wanted to grow.
It has since expanded into a place where professionals can learn about business development, and other topics that support personal and professional growth.
The August 17 masterclass demonstrated that renewed thinking and better systems belong together.
Mindset helps us believe change is possible.
Planning gives that belief direction.
Tracking gives us evidence.
Accountability keeps us moving.
Reset your mind today.
Review where you are.
Renew your thinking.
Build the plan and take the next right action.
